Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Mimix («the App») collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use our services. By using Mimix, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy. This policy applies to all users of the App, whether registered as Consumers or Business Users.

Types of Data Collected

Mimix collects limited Personal Data solely to enable the core functionality of the App. The following types of data are collected:

  • Personal Information: First name, last name, phone number, and User ID, provided voluntarily by you to create and manage your account within the App.

  • Subscription Data: Subscription transactions, such as status and billing, are handled exclusively by Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and are not collected or stored by Mimix.

Mimix does not collect Usage Data, cookies, or employ tracking technologies. The App does not share data with third parties for advertising, analytics, or cross-app tracking purposes. Personal Data is stored securely in Firebase solely for the purpose of app functionality and user authentication and is not used for any other purpose.

Methods of Processing

Mimix takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or destruction of your data. These measures include encryption, secure storage, and access controls.

We process your data based on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Your consent to data collection and processing.

  • Performance of a contract, such as providing the App’s services or managing your account.

Place

Data is processed at the Owner’s operating offices and in any other locations where the parties involved in processing are based, such as Firebase servers. If data is transferred outside the EU, appropriate legal safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, are implemented to protect your information.

Retention Time

Your data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law. Once these purposes are fulfilled, your data will be deleted or anonymized, unless retention is necessary for legal or operational reasons (e.g., record-keeping or dispute resolution).

Purposes of Processing

Mimix processes your data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and operate the App’s services, including user account management and authentication.

  • To ensure the App’s functionality and security.

  • To distribute the App via platform services (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store).

Detailed Information on Processing of Personal Data

Mimix uses the following third-party services to process data:

  • Firebase Cloud Firestore: Hosting and backend infrastructure for secure storage of Personal Data.

  • Firebase Authentication: Registration and authentication of user accounts.

  • Apple App Store and Google Play Store: Platform services for App distribution and subscription management.

Subscriptions

Mimix offers a monthly subscription that provides access to premium features or content. Subscription transactions, including billing details and subscription status, are processed exclusively by third-party payment processors (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Mimix does not store sensitive payment information, such as credit card numbers. These payment processors have their own privacy policies, which you should review. Subscription data is used solely to manage your subscription and provide access to subscribed services. Your subscription is tied to your user ID and can be managed or restored across devices. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the App or the respective payment platform, and we will stop processing subscription-related data upon cancellation, except as required by law or for operational purposes (e.g., record-keeping).

Content Provided by Users

By uploading or sharing content on Mimix, you confirm that you have the legal right to do so and that your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights. Mimix does not pre-moderate user content but reserves the right to remove, block, or delete content that:

  • Violates this Privacy Policy or the App’s Terms of Use.

  • Infringes intellectual property rights or other legal protections.

  • Poses a risk to users, third parties, or the App’s availability, as determined by Mimix.

Users are solely responsible for the content they provide. Mimix may act on complaints or reports regarding objectionable content within 24 hours by removing the content and suspending or terminating the responsible user’s account.

Prohibited Content

The following types of content are strictly prohibited on Mimix:

  • Content that incites hatred, promotes discrimination, or disparages individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, age, nationality, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or other characteristics associated with systemic discrimination.

  • Content that harasses, intimidates, or bullies individuals or groups, including content that shares personally identifiable information for harmful purposes (e.g., financial fraud, identity theft, or harassment).

  • Content that threatens or advocates for physical or mental harm, including self-harm, suicide, or violence against others.

  • Content that seeks to exploit others, such as through extortion, blackmail, or soliciting exploitative actions.

Data Security

Mimix takes reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption, secure storage, and access controls. However, no method of data transmission or storage is completely secure, and users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. You must immediately notify Mimix via the contact details provided in the App if you suspect your account or personal information has been compromised.

Account Termination and Data Deletion

You may terminate your account and stop using Mimix at any time by deleting your account directly within the App. Upon termination, Mimix will delete your personal information, except where retention is required for legal or operational purposes (e.g., compliance with applicable laws or resolving disputes). Mimix reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts at its discretion, without notice, if they are deemed inappropriate, offensive, or in violation of this Privacy Policy or the Terms of Use. Account suspension or deletion does not entitle users to compensation, damages, or reimbursement.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
